Our team
Owner, Operator
Sharon Isabel Curley
Sharon is an artist living in Philadelphia. She’s shown work in solo and group shows, she’s worked in wardrobe on movies, dressing celebrities and local artists alike. To keep her art going, Human Behaviour seemed like a great idea. Named after her favorite Bjork album, the business birthed in Tucson, AZ in 2007 when a friend was vacationing and asked her to stay in his home and water his orange trees and other plants while he was away. Then onto house sitting in LA and NY, until realizing her love of animals could be brought into the picture. HB has since grown to serve clients all around the greater Philadelphia region. Her other passion has been supporting adult artists with disabilities for the past 9 years.
Animal SItter, Professional Cat Whisperer
Robert Perry
Rob’s nickname is Chainsaw, and he uses that for his musical project, a rock & roll band called The 1910 Chainsaw Company. Born in New Jersey, where nicknames are a must, his was given to express the opposite affect. Rob shows tremendous care for the animals he cares for. He has developed relationships with many dogs, and appears to be a cat whisperer at heart. Rob helped a special HB animal buddy, a siamese cat named Taki, live a very happy life in the last years they had together while Taki was sick; providing him with his daily medicines and inhaler and a lot of love. By day, Chains is a station tech for the local bike share company, Indego.
Animal Sitter, Stand up Dude
Dave Curley
Dave likes to stick to the DelCo area when he works with Human Behaviour. This makes it convenient for him to make it to his day job as a Chimney Sweep with his older brother Lou at Lou Curley’s Chimney Service. Dave and his brother Lou are also Sharon’s brothers. When Dave is not working, he is a ripping guitar player and fronts The Wrong Band. He also enjoys mountain biking outdoors and visiting old jails on his routes.
